GES announces recruitment of first batch Degree holders from Colleges of Education

The Ghana Education Service is requesting applications from qualified trained teachers who graduated with first degree from only Public Colleges of Education, to be considered for employment.

Job Purpose

  1. To facilitate Learning using 21st Century technology
  2. Continuously improve learner’s ability to research using new technologies
  3. Teach highly motivated learners, cater for learners with different learning abilities, and help them achieve excellent academic results
  4. Attend relevant and continuous professional development sessions
  5. Use a variety of assessment tools and tasks to accurately assess levels of learners’ competency
  6. Any other responsibility that would be assigned to you by your Head of Institution

GES Recruitment Needed Criteria

Applicant must meet the following criteria for consideration

  1. Completed College of Education in 2022 and has no outstanding examination or referrals.
  2. Completed the mandatory National Service.
  3. Passed the National Teacher Licensure Examination.
  4. Ready to work wherever his/her services would be needed.

Apply through the GES portal www.gespromotions.gov.gh and proceed with the steps.

GES Recruitment Start Date and Deadline

According to GES, the recruitment portal will be open on 15th May 2024 and closed on 17th June 2024. This means the application deadline is 17th June 2024.

Needed Documents for Application

All applicants are requested to upload the following documents:

  1. Degree Certificate
  2. NSS Certificate
  3. NTC Licensure Number
  4. Ghana card
  5. Passport-sized photograph
