The National Teaching Council (NTC) indexing is an exercise that entails collecting the all details of all teacher trainees from the Colleges of Education in order to generate a specific code for each teacher trainee/prospective teacher.
How to verify your NTC Indexing details & make corrections
After a successful payment, NTC will send you an sms to alert you of the success.
The message from NTC about the Indexing Number reads:
“Hello …..(your name)….., your NTC indexing number has been created successfully. Your Indexing Number is ………
Please visit https://indexing.ntc.gov.gh to verify your details.”
To verify the created Indexing Number, you have to copy and paste /or enter the Indexing Number in the message after clicking the link.
Steps To Verify The Sent NTC Indexing Number
Kindly follow the link in the sent message/sms or use the same link here

Click the blue background option since you are verifying your details after the getting the NTC Indexing Number.
Next, when the link opens enter /or paste the Indexing Number and click “Submit”.
Wait patiently for a page to display. The page will ask you to verify your details and save finally.
On the said displayed page, there are some columns that CANNOT BE EDITED while some can be edited.
The only columns/fields that can be edited are “Phone”, and “Email”.
NB: Make the necessary changes there if you wish to.
In a situation where the NON-EDITABLE columns/fields have error(s), the Council urges you to contact your awarding institution for any corrections before you register for the GTLE.
