In an official release dated October 20, 2025, Prof. Ernest Kofi Davis, the Director-General of GES, announced that the deadline has been set for document submission to process all the delayed salaries for the 2024 Newly Posted Teachers.
The Management of Ghana Education Service in the release stated that the committee has granted approval for the extension of the financial arrangement originally issued in 2024.

This extension is intended to ensure that all unpaid recruited staff in 2024 are duly mechanised and paid by the end of November, 2025.
In view of the above he directed all Regional Directors of Education to request the required documents of all affected validated staff (those with staff Ids and have not been paid and those without staff Ids from Colleges of Education, graduates from other Universities and Non-Teaching yet to be generated) are compiled and submitted to the HRMD Secretariat, GES Headquarters by close of day Wednesday, 22nd October, 2025.
“This directive must be treated as urgent and strictly complied with.”
