According to the official release by the National Teaching Council (NTC) on July 4, 2023, there will be no extension in the time for registration.
The deadline as announced for the Ghana Teachers Licensure Examination (GTLE) II is still 31st July 2023. However, if the need arises for an extension, the Council might consider that but as of now, the above date still holds as the deadline for the September 2023 GTLE II registration.

i. A candidate shall select and write the Subject-Based GTLE (SBGTLE) in their major sub. In the case of Early Grade/Early Childhood or Primary, a candidate shall select and write multiple subjects content.
ii. All candidates shall select and write a paper in pedagogy related to their area of specialisation (pedagogy in Early Grade/Early Childhood, pedagogy in Primary and JHS, and pedagogy in SHS/TVET)
