As announced by Ghana Education Service (GES), all Basic Schools will commence on September 10, 2024, to start the 2024/2025 Academic Year.

After the world’s pandemic, COVID-19, the academic calendar of Basic Schools in Ghana was distorted for years.

GES has reverted the academic calendar for Basic Schools; hence, all basic schools in Ghana will start their new academic year in September.
