The 2023 GTLE results will be released after successful work has been accomplished via all the laid down procedures for its success.

The examination was the first of its kind to be organized by the National Teaching Council (NTC). Earlier, the teacher regulatory body used to access the Newly Qualified Teachers in three (3) areas namely Essential Skills, Literacy, and Numeracy.

However, due to the reform and how the NTC perceived the future for better educational success, they deemed it fit to restructure the papers into three different areas as it used to be but their scope differs this time around.

In the new reform, the Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT) will write:

  1. General Professional Paper. This paper is made up of Essential Skills, Numeracy, and Literacy.

NB: They are the only papers teachers used to sit for as a requirement to award them a license.

  1. Pedagogy
  2. Single/Multiple Subject Area Paper

When will they release the 2023 licensure result?

Due to the new reform and the writing of the next licensure exam in November (the last attempt for the re-sitters since 2018), it is highly hoped that the result will be released in October to prepare the grounds for the November GTLE.

The Council in no time will announce the exact date for the release of the result in order to prepare adequately for the 2024 GES Posting.
