The management of Bagabaga College of Education has requested a top-up of the agreed graduation fee as the graduation date looms.
In an official letter signed by the Principal Dr. Gazali Issahaku dated 20th July 2023, the management writes to inform the graduating batch (2022) about making a top-up of their graduation fee.
The scheduled date for the graduation is 29th July 2023. Unfortunately, the new request might reduce the turnout for the ceremony.
Some concerned graduands have tasked the college’s administration to do the following;
- Give us a full account of how the whooping sum of Ghs400.00 paid by every student is used.
- Abolish this cruel bill especially at this apocalyptic time.
“These are our humble requests for a happy and successful ceremony. Graduation ceremony supposed to be a joyous ground for all graduands. We must not turn-up with frowning faces. Thanks”
The signed and served notice by the Principal reads:
“TOP-UP PAYMENT OF GRADUATION FEE
I write to inform you that Management in consultation with the Alumni has decided that every graduation student of the 2022/2023 year group will be paying a fee of Ghe 75.00 as a top-up of their Graduation Fee for the 9 Congregation slated for 29th July, 2023.
The fee comprises the following:
- Payment of Alumni dues
- Certificate Folder
- Four Certified photocopies of Certificate
By a copy of this letter, the Dean of Students is requested to bring this to the attention of the students.”
