Licensure result changing: Can the Ghana Teacher Licensure Exam (GTLE) results change?

The Head of Public Affairs, NTC, Mr. Dennis Osei-Owusu in a public announcement addressed the changing of Ghana Teacher Licensure Exam (GTLE) results from fail to pass claims.

According to the public announcement, NTC said it has come to their attention that a fraudulent public announcement has been circulating, claiming changes in the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination result from fail to pass is possible.

To clarify such claims of those purported individuals /or groups of people, “NTC categorically denies the authenticity of such information.”

NTC is a credible institution. They deal with the true reflection of prospective teachers’ exam results therefore, news surrounding persons claiming to aid others in the changing of licensure results should be reported for investigations and onward legal actions.

The Council went on further to state that they have “not made any changes to the examination results. The published results remain valid and any announcements suggesting alterations to the results are false, misleading, and should be treated as fraudulent.”

“Candidates are advised to verify information only through the official NTC communication channels, including our official website and authorized social media accounts.”

Based on the viral fraudulent claims, NTC has promised to investigate the source of the said licensure results changing news and deal with the culprits (“acclaimed system invaders”) squarely.

“NTC is actively investigating the source of this fraudulent announcement and appropriate legal action will be taken against those responsible.”
