  • Aligned with NaCCA’s curriculum for basic schools
  • Factually accurate and reliable
  • Age-appropriate and aligned to learners’ developmental needs
  • Historically and culturally accurate, reflecting the values of the Ghanaian society
  • Pedagogically sound, supporting holistic learning and the achievement of national curriculum standards.

It simply means “only textbooks and supplementary materials approved by NaCCA should be selected and procured for use in classrooms and homes.”

This requirement ensures that learners are exposed to wholesome content that supports their academic growth, character development and overall well-being.

According to NaCCA, a comprehensive and regularly updated list of all NaCCA approved books is available on their official website: www.nacca.gov.gh.

Parents, schools, and the public are strongly encouraged to consult this resource before purchasing any educational materials for learners.
