The management of the Ghana National Service Authority has announced a strict schedule for the payment of the NSS Monthly Allowance.
According to the National Service Authority (NSA), a 6-level schedule has been developed to ease the process of knowing the total number of personnel on the Scheme and addressing the issues of “ghost names” on the Scheme as well.
Per the release, the NSA stated that “No biometric verification or, no allowance” would be paid. This call has broadened the face (smile) of a number of Ghanaians because they are now aware of the existence of over 81,000 ghost names on the Scheme’s payroll from 2017 to 2024.
Steps: The Monthly Allowance Schedule as announced by NSA
Step 1: All personnel are to download the monthly Evaluation Forms or Download Forms on every 10th day of the month.
Step 2: Get forms signed from the 10th to 15th of every month.
Step 3: Biometric attendance and form submission at the office (from the 16th to the 20th of every month).
Step 4: Approval of the process by the NSA will be done from the 21st to the 25th of every month.
Step 5: Data verification will take place. This exercise according to NSA will start from the 26th to the 30th of every month
Step 6: Payment. The last step of the process is payment. The respective accounts of the personnel will be credited from the 1st to the 5th of every month.
Abiding by the above 6-level monthly allowance payment schedule, NSA believes that all issues about payment, including the existence of ghost names, will be addressed.
