The National Teaching Council (NTC) has extends the deadline for the September 2023 GTLE II 2023 registration.
According to an official letter signed by Dr. Christian Addai-Poku, the Council said they have acknowledged the request sent by Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) dated 21st July 2023 seeking for the extension of the September 2023 GTLE II registration deadline.
In the letter published by NTC dated 27th July 2023, the Council extended the September 2023 GTLE II registration deadline to August 7, 2023.
Earlier, on the 4th of July 2023, NTC published that the deadline for the registration will be July 31, 2023, but due to reasons stated by the Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) in a letter dated 21st July 2023 seeking the extension of the September 2023 GTLE II registration deadline, the Council acknowledged their reasons and acted accordingly.
“Pursuant to the letter received from the NTC dated 27th July, 2023 with reference NTC/Exams/658/4/6, the council has agreed to extend the deadline for the registration of the GTLE from 31 July, 2023 to 7th August, 2023 to enable those who have not been able to register to reorganize themselves and register accordingly,” TTAG disclosed.
TTAG addressed the call for reducing the pass mark in the letter also. They stated that “we are still engaging the council on the 70% licensure pass mark issue. We wish to reiterate that the Association will always fight for the welfare of Teacher Trainees. We are grateful for your patience and understanding. We are better together.”
