
The Head of Public Affairs at the National Teaching Council (NTC), Dennis Osei-Owusu, has addressed the issue concerning the date of writing the 2025 Licensure Examination.
The Council issued an official notice on March 31, 2025, to clarify the 2025 licensure examination writing date.
In the release, NTC stated that their office has not released any date officially to sit for the 2025 Licensure Examination as speculated. Hence, they urged the public to do away with the false claims around.
“It has come to the attention of the National Teaching Council (NTC) on a public false announcement purported to have come from the Council calling for registration of the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) slated for May 5 to 6 2025.”

“OFFICIAL STATEMENT
The National Teaching Council has not opened the registration for GTLE neither has it set a date for GTLE.”
The Council advised candidates to cross-check and verify information through the official NTC communication channels, including their official website and authorized social media accounts before taking any further steps.
“Candidates are advised to verify information only through the official NTC communication channels, including our official website and authorized social media accounts.”
“NTC strictly admonishes all prospective candidates to treat such information as fraudulent and the Council is actively investigating the source of this announcement,” NTC stressed.
“We urge the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious communications related to the Council’s activities,” NTC urged the public to be vigilant.
