TTAG talks about NTC’s 70% pass mark

The Teacher Trainees’ Association of Ghana (TTAG) has talked about the 70% pass mark disclosed by the National Teaching Council (NTC) for the 2023 GTLE II.

TTAG in their release dated today, 28th July 2023 signed by Jephthan Nana Kwame, President, and John Edem Avedzi, General Secretary said they are “still engaging the council on the 70% licensure pass mark issue.”

The association indicated in the release that “We wish to reiterate that the Association will always fight for the welfare of Teacher Trainees. We are grateful for your patience and understanding. We are better together.”

The association, TTAG commended NTC for acknowledging their request of extending the September 2023 GTLE II registration deadline saying that the Council has “agreed to extend the deadline for the registration of the GTLE from 31 July, 2023 to 7th August, 2023 to enable those who have not been able to register to reorganize themselves and register accordingly.”

To this edge, all prospective teachers who will sit for the said examination are urged to fast-track the process of registration.
