Ghana Education Service (GES) has notified all Basic Schools about the vacation date for First Term across all Public Schools in the country.
GES in their official release has ignored all spreading news about vacation dates and indicated that the announced dates on the 9th of February 2023 still holds for all academic activities.
VACATION DATE FOR 1st TERM
1st Term vacation will start from 25th March, 2023 through to 2nd April 2023.
2nd TERM REOPENING DATE
The reopening date for 2nd Term is 3rd April 2023 across all Basic Schools in the country.
BECE 2023 DATE
According to GES 13th March, 2023, the 2023 BECE date has finally been settled. It will start on the 7th August 2023 through to 11th of August 2023.
END OF ACADEMIC YEAR
The 2023 academic year will go down on the 14th of September 2023 for all Basic Schools EXCEPT the current JHS 3 because, their BECE will be written from 7th August 2023 through to 11th of August 2023.
2nd TERM REOPENING DATE
The next term, 2nd Term will start on 3rd April and end on 15th June 2023.
2nd Term VACATION DATE
The announced date for 2nd Term vacation is 16th June 2023 through to 26th June 2023.
3rd TERM REOPENING DATE
The last term of the 2023 academic year will start on 27th June and come to an end on 14th September, 2023.
