How to apply for NTC Licensure exams -Check here

The National Teaching Council (NTC) has detailed the registration steps for the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE).

The Council urged all teachers who are yet to sit for their NTC GTLE to heed to the stated registration procedure for a successful process.

Below are the steps to follow judiciously.

1. After an official release by the Council, kindly purchase a Voucher at any authorized/approved Bank that the Council (NTC) will announce for the purchase of voucher.
2. On the Voucher, you will see a PIN and Serial Number. Take note: That is your key for registration.
3. Visit the official website of the Council >> click here to register << and continue.
4. After the portal has been opened, select the option “New Registration” and proceed.
5. Next, key in your Serial Number and PIN just as it appears on the Voucher.
6. Due to the reform, the portal now has an option for entering the “NTC Indexing number”. Make sure you enter the exact number you received from NTC for the said column.
7. Kindly wait for it to display another menu which will ask for Region selection.
8. Make sure you enter all the needed requests in the fields there.
9. Upload a passport-size picture. Be very careful when uploading your passport picture. NTC does not allow change of uploaded passport pictures.
10. Finally, go through all you have entered in the fields and SUBMIT the form for processing.

NB: Do not forget to print a copy of the summary. It will be inspected at the exams centre.
