The National Service Scheme (NSS) awards a certificate for the one-year mandatory service personnel have offered the nation.
NSS has detailed all the requirements that a Service personnel must met before they get their certificate delivered.
What are the requirements for NSS certificate?
NSS has publicized seven (7) requirements that personnel must meet before they issue them certificate.
The NSS Certificate Requirements are as follows:
- Personnel must have successfully completed their mandatory one (1) year (12 months) National service.
- Personnel must have had their annual assessment form filled with a fair assessment of their performance by their immediate supervisor or Head of the User Agency where served.
- Assessment forms must have been submitted at the various District offices of the scheme where the Agency is located.
- Submit your NSS Number for verification in the field provided.
- Submit your Means of Identification.
- Fill in your details in the request form displayed.
- Make payment for delivery using any of the several options available.

- Check below and locate “Check Certificate Status“.
- Next, enter your NSS Number and click the green inscribed button dubbed “Check“

- Click “Don’t know your NSS Number?” and wait for the next menu.
- Enter your first name in the column.
- Enter your last name.
- You have to select your Region of service.
Click the arrow down at your right for “Select Region“ - Next, “Select the year of service“
- Finally, click the “Search” and wait patiently for the feedback.
