The process to follow in order to update your National Teaching Council (NTC) profile for the new License Card Issuance has been detailed here for your perusal.

As part of the process for issuing new license cards to teachers in Ghana based on their subject specialization, all teachers are requested to log in to their accounts on the Teacher Portal Ghana (TPG) and update their profiles with the specific subjects they teach, along with the required proof of certification.

To make the whole procedure very easy, we have listed the steps to follow for a successful end.

Steps to follow: Follow this Procedure

Procedure 1

Visit https://tpg.ntc.gov.gh/account/login/teacher

Procedure 2

Log in using your username and password.

Procedure 3

Once logged in, click on Profile.

Procedure 4

On the Profile page, scroll down to the Public Teacher Information section.

Procedure 5

In the Public Teacher Information section, click on Role Class Level and provide your role class, attaching the necessary proof

Procedure 6

After saving your Role Class Level, a new field) will appear for selecting your Major Subject. Click on Major Subject to select your subject specialization and upload your certificate as proof.

Procedure 7

Click Save once you have completed all fields.

How to register on NTC Teachers’ Portal as a newbie to the portal

To become a user of the NTC Teachers’ Portal, you are obliged to register or log onto the platform. This portal helps users/teachers know the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Points they have/building/built so far in their teaching career.

The laid down steps to follow in order to register on the NTC Teachers’ portal are as follows:

Step 1:

You have to open the 👉 (Teacher Portal Ghana official website) on any smart device and proceed.

Step 2:

Move on and click the icon the “Register now” icon there or click on an already existing account, depending on the category you belong to.

Step 3:

Click the button named “Teacher Signup” as the account type. From there, continue to fill/complete the form and click on submit.

Step 4:

An email will be sent to the email account you provided in the process. Open your email afterward to check for the confirmation link in there mail.

Take note: In a situation where you cannot find the mail containing the confirmation link in your inbox, do not panic. Just open the spam folder session locate the mail right there and proceed.

Step 5:

Upon chancing on the confirmation link in the mail, just click on it to confirm your email.
