4 marks, Good
Teacher establishes clear parameters for student conduct; develops appropriate strategies for dealing with problems; deals with misbehaviour promptly.

3 marks, Satisfactory

4 marks, Very Good
Teacher shows enthusiasm in teaching; maintains students’ attention throughout the lesson; is creative and innovative; exhibits decorum in speech and behaviour; but is a bit smartly dressed.

3 marks, Satisfactory
Teacher shows enthusiasm in teaching; maintains students’ attention throughout the lesson; is creative and innovative; but does not exhibits decorum in speech and behaviour.

2 marks, Unsatisfactory
Teacher shows enthusiasm in teaching and focuses students attention on the lesson.

0/1 mark, Poor
Teacher does not show enthusiasm in teaching, and is unconcerned about the direction of students’ attention.

RECORD KEEPING AND ATTITUDE TO TEACHING

5 marks, Very Good
Teacher keeps records of lessons in a bound notebook for reference; accepts constructive feedback to improve teaching in REMARKS column of the lesson notes; reflects on teaching.

4 marks, Good
Teacher keeps records of lessons in a bound notebook for reference; accepts constructive feedback to improve teaching in REMARKS column of the lesson notes; but not evidence of reflecting on teaching.

3 marks, Satisfactory
Teacher keeps records of lessons in a bound notebook for reference.

2 marks, Unsatisfactory
Teacher keeps records of lessons on sheets of paper.

0/1 mark, Poor
Teacher has no record of previous lessons; current lesson plan is on sheet of paper.

In conclusion, teaching /or Teacher Trainees should work assiduously on management of students’ behaviour. In addition, professional commitment is another hallmark of a Teacher. As a Teacher, you have to focus painting a good behaviour towards your profession and keeping of all records nearly and safely.
