
NTC announces date for 2023 licensure exams
The National Teaching Council (NTC) has disclosed on 26th January 2023 the date for which the 2023 Licensure examination will be conducted.
Registrar of the National Teaching Council Dr. Christian Addai-Poku at the 9th Awards Committee Meeting on the 2022 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination II, disclosed that
“Preparations are far advanced to implement the anticipated reforms which include Subject-Based Test (SBT) and Computer-Based Test (CBT). As part of the processes leading to the implementation of the reforms, the Council has developed content areas and a table of specifications for 65 subjects.”
Furthur, he mentioned the date saying
“The reformed GTLE is scheduled to be written in April 2023 and will be taken mainly by candidates trained under the National Teacher Education Curriculum Framework (NTECF).”
“It is expected that the results will, to a large extent, determine how fidel we have been of the implementation thus far.”
To the newly trained teachers who have been posted to undertake their mandatory one-year Service should kindly dedicate time to learning materials towards the said NTC licensure exams come April 2023 as announced.
